And joining a sorority is about finding your people – the women who will cheer you on and challenge you along the way. Your future sisters will be there to support you as you learn all that you’re capable of, and through the sorority experience you’ll tap into your potential through exploring leadership, giving back to the community, and serving others.

Sorority women are three times as likely to have an internship in school and twice as likely to have a job when they graduate.

- Welcome to Phi Mu at the University of Kentucky! From game days at Kroger Field to late-night study sessions at our chapter house. Our chapter is all about lifting each other up and making every moment meaningful, all while maintaining our values of Love, Honor, and Truth. You will find a group of women who celebrate your wins, support you through your hard days, and can’t wait to cheer you on as you become your best self. We are proud to call Lexington our home, and even more proud to be the home away from home for our members. How do you join Phi Mu?There are two ways to become a part of our sisterhood! The most common way is to join through primary recruitment in the fall. During primary recruitment each Potential New Member will go through each round of recruitment, and in the end they will decide a chapter to call their new home.The other way to join Phi Mu is through Continuous Open Bidding (COB), a more relaxed and personal recruitment process that takes place outside of formal recruitment. COB gives us the opportunity to get to know you on a deeper level through one-on-one conversations and small-group events. Think of it as a chance for both you and our members to learn more about each other, build genuine connections, and see if Phi Mu feels like the right fit for you.Once you've found your home with us, the final step is signing the Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement (MRABA).
